Choose products specifically designed to detangle and condition hair.Wet hair liberally and apply conditioner.Part hair from ear to ear or front to back using butterfly clips to keep each section separated and make 4-6 smaller sections in each half.Hold palm upward and close to the scalp, start combing with a wide-toothed comb at the ends of the hair and work your way up to the base of the scalp to detangle hair.Once the section of hair is combed and detangled thoroughly, divide into two parts and twist together to the end to separate from the rest of the hair needing to be detangled.Repeat processed until hair is completely detangled.
